SISTER GARDEN

A Monthly Gathering for Women to Connect

Our Mission:
We live in a world where we are often asked to conform to societal norms and ideas. We are expected to sensor ourselves, choose our words carefully, and appeal to a greater audience. This circle intends to be a space where these ideals do not exist, where women are not only encouraged to speak their truth, but held safely by other women while doing so.
*
Sister Garden hopes to facilitate a space of non-judgment and healing for all female embodied persons. A place where we as a community create a space that supports connection, sharing of ourselves, creation, and exploration. This container holds space for us to break our silence and fears, and cultivate an environment that fosters vulnerability, care, and honesty

SISTER GARDEN MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

A Monthly Curated Safe Container for Women

The Sister Garden Newsletter is a monthly invitation to explore a virtual container of thoughts, art, poems, events and more to help connect women.

*

Women have the unique ability to transform individual thoughts into a collective shared experience, regardless of difference in religion, race, or background. It is my belief that the beauty of womanhood lies here.
*
I hope this virtual platform can be utilized as a safe place for women to slow down, root inward, and dive deeper into themes that provide an opportunity for self-reflection and growth. You are not alone in this journey.

MEET THE HOST'S

(Left) My name is Kimberley and I have been attending and helping co-lead this circle for the past four years. Professionally, I am a social worker with a creative art therapy background. This circle has helped me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I have grown to understand myself more intimately and learned how to share my thoughts and feelings with others in an open and authentic way. Most importantly, I have learned how to be vulnerable. How to dig deep and not be afraid of my dark corners. I highly value this space and am so excited to share it with other women.

(Right) My name is Tanya and I am an artist educator and lover of all things clay and healing. I have been on a journey to better understand my wounds and strengths by diving deep into sharing space, the tarot, and mask making. I  have been hosting women's circle for the past 4 years, helping create space and co-lead alongside some bright brave souls. Through this circle I have heard the stories of my sisters, stories I would have never known I needed to hear if it weren't for this space. Their vulnerability has helped me gather the courage to share my own hurtful, wise truths and be witnessed in a safe, validating space, and for this I am forever grateful. I look forward to sharing space with those who come and gather around the candle with us.
